Abstract

In past ages the doctrine of the Trinity has been addressed from the perspective of answering such questions as “What does the Bible teach in regard to the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. However, the postmodern emphasis on pragmatic truth may offer an alternative entry into Trinitarian reflection. The result may be fresh insights into the meaning of Christian community and the church’s relation to the world.
