We live in an environment geared toward inactivity, so it is little wonder that our default is to be underactive.
For centuries, we simply were active but today we need to be intentional about moving more, if we are to achieve the levels of activity our bodies need to thrive.
We are discovering that the long-term ill-health consequences of too much sitting and not enough moving during the day are distinct from the consequences of not exercising.
