Details of Project or Exemplar

This best practice exemplar involves 3rd year education students in assessment for/as/and of learning. Students work in randomly selected groups of four during 10 hours spread over 6 weeks to plan and teach a series of four writing lessons to their peers based on either imaginative, informative or persuasive writing and one other KLA. The process has built in formative assessment at the commencement, assessment as learning throughout the whole process and assessment of learning in their Quality Teaching Model Portfolio and final reflections. This assessment is continually under revision and improvement.
