Abstract

Study tours are popular educational experiences even in higher education. Study tours of biblical sites as a means of confirming faith and deepening knowledge have been common practice in Adventist circles for some time. But often the evidence for the value of these experiences is anecdotal. This study of a specific tour sought to validate the anecdotal evidence for the special learning value of the tour and, further, to identify the factors that best contributed to the students’ learning.
