Item Perry, James Charles Hamley (1902–1993) and Muriel Albertina (Powrie) (1902–1998)(2020-07-01) Perry, GraemeJames Charles Hamley Perry and his wife, Muriel Albertina, were partners for 16 years as pioneer missionaries for the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Church in the South Pacific Islands, and subsequently for 18 years of pastoral evangelism in Western Australia. The spirituality of this adventurous committed pastoral ministry was supported by practicality, his in managing boats, building projects and people; hers in supporting family life, dressmaking and hospitality.
