Abstract

Faith, Freedom, and Higher Education: Historical Analysis and Contemporary

Reflections, a volume of 11 essays, edited by P C Kemeny and set primarily

within a North American context, is an eclectic mix of historical and contemporary

perspectives on the role of Christian higher education. Despite its focused geographical

perspective, there is much in this book to recommend it to a global

audience, including secular higher education institutions seeking to provide a

values-based education for students from diverse backgrounds, and Christian

schools.
