Abstract

Knowledge creation which results from collaborative processes between researchers and practitioners embeds potential for sustained change. When coupled with deep commitment to knowing and serving God, collaborative research with Christian educators has greater potential to educate for eternity. That is, students and educators may change the way they think and act as research reveals God’s purpose, hope, and peace. This chapter uses the praxis of Shalom as a framework to report on research aimed at developing an agenda for impactful and collaborative research. Insights about two priority areas are discussed: (1) diversity and inclusion and (2) mental health and well-being.
