Abstract

An account of more than 170 religious groups in Australia. 29 religious families are covered with book-length materials. These cover history, the history in Australia, beliefs and practices, organisation, statistics and biographies. A shorter account is given of other groups. In most cases, each religious group tells its own story - in simple and descriptive language. The 2nd edition has been totally revised with the latest survey and Census statistics and with the latest information about each group. [Book Summary]
