Abstract

'It is Well' is the 6th studio album recorded by vocal ensemble The Promise of Avondale. This album features premiere recordings of original compositions and arrangements by music graduate Oliver Doyle (2019), Avondale Jazz Ensemble Director David Pudney and Artistic Director Aleta King. Two exciting new original arrangements of the title track are also featured on this album. The first is a premiere recording of Naomi Crellin's original jazz vocal arrangement 'It is Well With My Soul' and the second is a recording of Andrew Legg's original gospel style arrangement 'It is Well'. This album is available for purchase, download and streaming from the following digital music stores: iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube Music, Amazon Unlimited.
