The Hospital-acquired Pneumonia Prevention (HAPPEN) study is a multi-site, stepped wedge cluster randomised trial evaluating the impacts of improving oral care among adult patients to reduce the incidence of non-ventilator, hospital-acquired pneumonia (HAP). This document is the Health Economics Analysis Plan (HEAP) for evaluating the cost-effectiveness of the intervention compared with usual care.
