Abstract

In reviewing the achievements and challenges of 2025 Avondale University has made measurable progress toward its vision, mission and strategic goals, contributing to regional and national productivity, and the goals described in the Australian Universities Accord. As a university, Avondale University contributes to Australian society and national prosperity through highly skilled graduates and delivering research which has real-world impact. Avondale excels in essential professions that support the care economy, notably healthcare, education and supporting community need. Our faith-informed approach to higher education provides graduates with more than industry skills. It encourages individuals to develop a sense of identity and purpose with their chosen profession. These intangible qualities not only result in highly productive and engaged skilled workers, but in individuals and leaders who make a meaningful contribution to their communities. These qualities are nurtured within a meaningful student and staff community through shared values - service, excellence, wellbeing, integrity, and spirituality.
