Abstract

Nurses and other health professionals are engaged with both governmental and non-governmental organisations to provide care within international humanitarian relief and development contexts. This research presentation provides understanding for those nurses wishing to volunteer with a non-governmental faith-based organisation offering surgical care in a non-disaster context.
