dc.description.abstract<p>At <em>Healthcare Infection</em>, we think it is important for our readers, authors and reviewers to understand the journal’s peer-review processes. It is now more than 13 years since an editorial was published describing peer-review within the original <em>Australian Infection Control</em>. We decided it is time to do so again.</p>
