dc.description.abstract
This creative work demonstrates the artist's current research practice in painting - which attempts to re-invigorate plain air painting with particular application to experiences drawn from the Australian landscape. The work shows the appropriate use of spontaneous and varied mediums, such as house paints and bitumen, to create both an emotive and analytical response to observations before the motif.
