| dc.description.abstract | William McKenzie was arguably one of the most diligent chaplains of the Australian Imperial Forces during World War One. Chaplaincy circumstances were different to those of modern times, yet some principles remain the same. This article explores features of McKenzie’s personal qualities and professional behaviour that made his chaplaincy so influential, while also noting aspects that cut short his service. It seeks to apply principles that remain relevant today. | |
