dc.description.abstract
In the Beginning was written to clarify and affirm the biblical view of the earth and human beings. It recognizes that how we understand origins affects virtually everything else we believe as Adventist Christians. Aimed at the average reader, the essays and articles reflect the conviction that the truth about origins is not derived solely, or even primarily, from science and the natural world. For Christians, the truth about origins comes initially from divine revelation from Scripture.[from publisher's website]
