Abstract
Ellen Meyers was a pioneering Adventist missionary who devoted her life to serving the people of Burma, Fiji, and India. Her faithful service as a teacher, nurse, evangelist, and mother earned her the title “Mother Meyers”—a role she played both literally and figuratively to hundreds in her care. Working primarily as a teacher, Meyers also provided medical support and advocacy for the women and children in her care.
