Abstract

A study of the morphology, macroscopic, light microscopic and electron microscopic appearance of the respiratory system of the Eastern Blue-tongued Lizard, Tiliqua scincoides (reptilia: scincidae). Some basic functional studies of respiratory rate, tidal volume, intrapulmonary pressure and body temperature variations, also some analyses of blood and lung gases.
