dc.description.abstract<p>French Polynesia consists of approximately 130 islands scattered in the central South Pacific Ocean. The main groups are the Marquesas Islands, Tuamotu Archipelago, the Gambier Islands, the Tubuai Islands, and the Society Islands.</p>
