My Research for my PhD, that was awarded in early 2015, looked at the nature of the value of a personal relationship with the sitter for the purposes of making a, specifically, painted portrait. This portrait of my daughter therefore sought to investigate a technique and a representation of the idea of the father/daughter relationship.
