Abstract

As a lecturer in nursing, I like to know that after I have engaged with my students they will become nurses who will make a difference. I have had students tell me that they are planning to work in a particular area because of the influence I have had. While it's nice to hear, it is nicer however to know that something has happened within the student that has motivated them to make a difference and it is time for me to move aside.
