Abstract
Biblical Missionaries retells key features of the stories of selected biblical persons who felt commissioned by God to travel and witness for their faith in alien countries, cultures and environments. Persons include Abraham, the unnamed servant girl in the home of Naaman the Syrian, Jonah, Daniel, Esther and Mordecai, Jesus, Peter, Philip and Paul. The authors drew their data from a careful study of the biblical narratives in their original languages, and included relevant cultural , religious and social features. The book’s chief goal is to present the great variety of persons and situations in which witness for the true God occurred.
