Abstract
The church has been hemorrhaging at an alarming rate for decades. Over 50% of the church’s young people sever connection in their teens. What does the church currently do that youth tell us keeps them in the church? What should we do that at the moment we are not that would make the prospects of staying more desirable. The role of the family is crucial. The impact of youth ministry should never be underestimated. Involving young people in service and the mission of the church has lasting effect. All this needs to be built on a maturing relationship with Jesus.
