Abstract
One hundred and ten years ago, the Seventh-day Adventist Church rented a block of land at Buresala on the Island of Ovalau to establish a small institution known initially as the Fiji Training Institute. It was established by John Fulton (Mission Superintendent) and Septimus Carr (Principal). Today Fulton College, an interdisciplinary University College registered with the Fiji Higher Education Commission and its Theology programs ,accredited by the South. Pacific Association of Theological Schools, is located in Sabeto, Nadi, just 10 kilometres from Nadi International Airport. This article explores the intervening years.
