Abstract

The imparting of knowledge to children is an exciting and challenging responsibility. There is a constant search for means of imparting this knowledge that is more effective and more interesting for both teachers and students. A fascinating method known as theme teaching has been adopted by some. Theme teachers develop a multi-subject curriculum on a common theme.

The focus question to be examined in this study states "Is thematic teaching a meaningful teaching method for children and stimulating and practical for teachers"
