Abstract
In studying Revelation two considerable problems emerge. Firtly, there is a decided lack of concensus among authors with regard to its meaning; and secondly, there is an apparent lack of objective controls applied in its interpretation. The purpose of this thesis is to understand the meaning which Rev 15-16 had to its initial readership, so as to lay a firm foundation for contemporary interpretation.[from Thesis]
